1. Spring is Peak Booking Season – Don’t Miss Out!

Spring is when newly engaged couples everywhere start visiting venues, checking out photographers, and looking for catering… Why? Because wedding dates fill up fast!

  • Popular summer weekends can be booked years in advance.
  • Photographers, venues, and florists get flooded with enquiries at this time of year (and we love speaking to so many happy couples!).
  • The earlier you book, the more choices you have!
  • BUT – if you are looking at a date close by, still get in touch with your dream suppliers – you just never know. If we are free, then perhaps it’s fate that we should be together on your wedding day!

If you have a dream venue or photographer in mind, don’t wait too long – someone else could snap us up first!

2. 2026 is Booking FAST!

Not sure when to set the date? The best thing to do is to get everything lined up as soon as possible! Here’s what to expect:

  • For 2026 weddings: You have some flexibility, but don’t assume suppliers will be available forever! Summer weekends and bank holidays go quickly.
  • For 2025 weddings: Many peak dates are already filling up, but there may still be last-minute opportunities if you’re open to weekdays, or if the universe decides we are meant for each other and the dates align!

The key is to be proactive, be flexible, and start planning NOW.

3. Spring is Perfect for Venue Visits & Engagement Shoots

Springtime is when wedding venues come alive with blooming flowers, bright blue skies, and all the good vibes. It’s the perfect time to take a look and picture how it would look for your special day!

Book an engagement shoot! Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons for engagement photos! we have gorgeous golden light, fresh greenery, and no summer crowds in some of the most beautiful spots.

Plus, an engagement session helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day! It’s like a practice run for your wedding photos, without the stress and pressure of your family and friends watching!

4. More Time to Plan (Without Feeling Rushed!)

The earlier you start planning, the less stressed you’ll be. You can enjoy the run-up to your big day knowing that everything is sorted!

  • More time to research and choose suppliers you LOVE (instead of panic-booking).
  • More payment flexibility – spreading out costs is way easier than last-minute lump sums.
  • More options – whether it’s dresses, décor, or catering, you’ll have the best selection.

Early planning gives you more time to enjoy your engagement,  instead of feeling overwhelmed!

Start with Your Top Priorities!

If you’re ready to start planning but don’t know where to begin, focus on these first:

  • Venue – The foundation of your wedding day. Dates go FAST!
  • Photographer – I’m the person who captures your memories forever. (And yes, we book up quickly!) Long after the cake has been eaten and the dress has been packed away, your photos will be there to look through and to help you re-live your happy day, again and again.
  • Key suppliers – Think caterers, florists, hair & makeup artists – get your top choices locked in.

Once those are sorted, the rest of your wedding planning will feel SO much easier!
